About This Project

Bondeni Rescue is a registered children's home run by Mr. and Mrs. Gitau. They have committed their lives to caring for vulnerable young individuals. Bondeni meaning "in the valley", aims to scale the heights necessary to fulfill the hopes of disadvantaged children.

Bondeni targets children who have been orphaned, mistreated, or separated from their families. Under some circumstances, a child's closest relatives may also lack the means to provide adequate care. Beginning as a feeding initiative, Bondeni has grown into a facility housing eighty children. It has established an outreach program which monitors local families, providing necessities and education bursaries. Currently, Bondeni expects to help many more children through increasing the capacity of its home.
