About This Project

Alice Mwende founded Mum's Love to provide a nurturing, loving, and caring environment to children needing care and protection. It started with Alice rescuing one girl whose mother wanted to sell her to traffickers. That is when Alice realized her long-term passion for having a children's centre.

Mum's Love hosts children between the ages of 3 and 18. The majority of the children are orphans, abandoned, destitute, and vulnerable. They are provided with love, education, shelter, nutritious food, clothing, and counselling. Children are given the opportunity to discover their talents so that they will become great leaders in society in the future.
