About This Project

Founded in 2012, St. Luthmer Children's Home is a compassionate sanctuary located in Ruiru, Kiambu County, dedicated to nurturing orphaned and vulnerable children. Our mission is to provide a safe and loving environment where every child can grow. learn, and thrive. We currently care for 36 children, offering them not just shelter but also emotional support and educational opportunities that empower them to build brighter futures.

At St. Luthmer, we believe in the transformative power of love and education. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to meet the individual needs of each child, fostering their self-esteem and life skills. We aim to break the cycle of poverty by equipping our children with the tools they need to succeed in life.
